East Range Joint Powers Board Financial Resources
From Northland Foundation programs to support child care providers, to the St. Louis County Community Development Block Grant, consult our Financial Resources flyer for leads on funding sources and details about eligible projects, as well as who to contact for more information.
East Range Participation Loan Program
Offers economic development financing for businesses to enhance the economic base and vitality of East Range communities. Eligible businesses can apply to receive funds for job creation and retention, area economic growth and redevelopment, and other types of projects. Learn more.
East Range Seller Readiness Rehabilitation Program
Revolving loan fund that assists sellers with the completion of home repairs that will allow homes to meet standard financing criteria. Loan funds can pay for the costs of materials and workmanship to remedy deficiencies in the condition of the property which would prevent the buyer of the property from obtaining, if otherwise qualified, USDA, FHA, or VA purchase financing loans due to the property’s substandard housing condition. The Minnesota Department of Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation provides financial assistance to communities that invest in their foundational, business and social assets to ensure quality of life in northeastern Minnesota. Driving Access to Wealth & Networks (DAWN)
The DAWN program helps entrepreneurs and businesses access capital so they can launch and thrive in the Northland. DAWN can provide technical assistance for applications and connect you with a wide range of funding options like the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). Learn more.
