The Marketing Committee of the East Range Joint Powers Board recently produced a marketing plan complete with a series of action steps to guide its work in the coming months.

With an emphasis on connecting and amplifying marketing efforts that showcase local events, engage the community, and drive economic vitality, the Marketing Committee envisions a shared regional identity that inspires pride across the East Range. In line with this goal, the committee will focus on strengthening community and visitor engagement, mobilizing volunteers, and establishing an East Range Chamber of Commerce, in addition to enhancing year-around tourism events.

Key projects for the months ahead include:

  • Coordinating with Discover the Range to promote a unified events calendar
  • Expanding social media presence to amplify reach and engagement
  • Creating a centralized online information hub
  • Increasing the number of Certified Tourism Ambassadors
  • Developing a volunteer program and increasing volunteerism
  • Launching the East Range Chamber of Commerce
  • Promoting a schedule of signature events in the area
  • Relaunching the East Range Summit
