Golden Paws Dog Training recently completed a new facility in the Town of White with support from the East Range Participation Loan Program.

Golden Paws offers puppy classes, manners classes, and private lessons on location at 3724 Hwy 99 in Aurora, Minnesota. They also offer online classes, workshops, webinars, and private training through Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.

Owner Nicole Wiebusch started Golden Paws in 2008.

“Throughout my journey in dog training, I’ve learned that both pet and sport dogs can be taught using dog-friendly training methods,” shares Nicole. “Commonly called positive reinforcement dog training, this method involves rewarding the dog for correct behavior and teaching the dog (using rewards, typically food rewards) alternative behaviors for those behaviors we wish to extinguish. I have used exclusively positive reinforcement dog training methods since the early 2000s.”

You can learn more about the Golden Paws story on the Golden Paws website, which is also home to an active blog that explores topics like “Why your dog won’t come when called and how to fix it.” You can also subscribe to the Golden Paws newsletter, or stay connected on Facebook
