The East Range Joint Powers Board received a grant from Blandin Foundation to support technology audits of local businesses on the East Range. In collaboration with consultants from the Northeast MN Small Business Development Center (NE MN SBDC) business owners will have the opportunity to work one on one through an audit of your current technology platforms. We will help you identify where you are at and what improvements you’d like to make to improve business outcomes. Then, you will have access to a mini-grant of up to $1,500 to improve either your digital marketing or technology in your business.

Audits will cover the following topics:
- Hardware – Are you in need of an upgrade on your computers, point of sale, routers, printers etc.?
- Software – Are the programs you’re using working for your business? Can include a range of programs from accounting software to point of sale, even office tools like Excel and Word.
- Social Media – What are you using now, and what other options could boost your business’ presence?
- Website – Is your website functional or does it need to be updated? What changes might you want to make?
